Xceldyne Technologies and CV Products would like to congratulate Warren Johnson and his entire GM Performance Parts Team on their
dominating victory at the 2005 Spring Nationals in Houston. The 61-year-old Johnson became the oldest driver to ever win a national
event by posting a 6.714 sec final pass at 205.01 mph over Jason Line.
An outstanding Houston performance in the GM Performance Parts Pontiac Grand Am enabled Johnson to celebrate his 93rd career victory.
Reaching his 145th final round by conquering Richie Stevens, Greg Stanfield, and Dave Connolly, the victory placed Johnson at the
head of the NHRA Pro Stock division by 26 points for the first time this season.
